Dr. Tina Sikka Wins Prestigious Award









Dr. Tina Sikka has been selected as the winner of the International Award for Excellence in the area of Climate Change: Impacts and Responses by The International Journal of Climate Change: Impacts and Responses.

Her paper Geoengineering in a World Risk Society was selected by the editors for the award from the ten highest-ranked papers emerging from the referee process and according to the selection criteria outlined in the referee guidelines.

As the winning author Dr. Sikka is invited to present a plenary session at the upcoming Fourth International Conference on Climate Change: Impacts and Responses to be held at The University of Washington, Seattle, Washington from 12-13 July 2012 where she will be formally presented with the award.

Tina Sikka is a post-doctoral fellow at the School of Communication ACT Lab.
